Deputy handles rostering, timesheets and award interpretation for restaurants that need more structure than a spreadsheet. Its webhooks fire across the whole timesheet lifecycle — when a shift is initiated, when it goes pending, when a manager approves it, and when pay is approved — so Nomly acts at the right moment instead of polling for changes. Connected to Nomly, an unapproved timesheet does not sit unnoticed until payroll Friday, and an open shift does not quietly become a missed dinner service.
Configuration Steps
- In your Nomly dashboard, navigate to Plugins → Deputy
- Click Connect and authorize Nomly with your Deputy install
- Choose the locations and teams Nomly should read
- Subscribe to timesheet events — pending, approved, pay approved
- Set your labor targets and overtime thresholds
- Pick the automations it powers (e.g., Timesheet Chase)
- Run a test sync and turn it on — your automations are live
