Square

Square

Pull sales, orders and menu data straight from your Square POS.

Overview

Square is the point-of-sale platform behind hundreds of thousands of restaurants, handling orders, payments, menus and payouts in one system. When connected to Nomly, Square becomes the source of truth your agents read from — every order the voice agent takes lands there, and every automation pulls its numbers from it. Sales, labor and closeout data flow into your Daily Store Brief without anyone exporting a report.

Configuration Steps

  1. In your Nomly dashboard, navigate to Plugins → Square
  2. Click Connect and log into your Square account to authorize access
  3. Choose the locations Nomly should read sales and orders from
  4. Select what Nomly can pull — orders, items, labor and payouts
  5. Pick the automations it powers (e.g., Daily Store Brief, Labor Watch)
  6. Set your reporting window and the recipients for each alert
  7. Run a test sync and turn it on — your automations are live

What you can build with Square

Automations operators turn on in their first week — no builder required. Each one can report, ask for approval, or run automatically, within boundaries you set.

Or just ask

  • What were my top 5 items last week?
  • Why were sales down Tuesday?
  • Which location has the worst labor variance?
  • How much did we lose to voids this month?
